Happy Day Death Ray.

Happy Day Death Ray is a new electronic / hip hop project that I've started with Steve Burton. The two of us decided that we should write rhymes inspired by cool movies and rad action heroes, so we did. A week and a half later, we wrote four songs and made a video. Here's the final video teaser (which was written, recorded, filmed and edited in a day) for our facebook launch. Check us out for updates!

The track featured in the video can be downloaded for free on our bandcamp.

Cheating Sons Live at the Esplanade Visual Teaser.

Best viewed in full screen, here's the teaser with some of the visuals I have prepared for the Cheating Sons sold out performance tomorrow night at the Esplanade Recital Hall. There will be around 10 different looping visuals that will be projected onto large screens above the band as well as a special animated sequence with my remix of their track, "Last Queen".

During my jobless days, Chen and I decide to make music under the alias David Carla. He'd just send me the guitar tracks and I'd sing over them with my little girly voice. I particularly liked this one song, so decided to throw in some animations of my bedside friends to make it more interesting to listen to. I'm in the midst of using the lyrics to make a little story book.
