I've always had a fascination with old books, especially those with names or birthday wishes scribbled on first page. I usually pick up a few illustrated children's books at the market, but last Sunday I stumbled upon three really beautiful old hardcover books, and I've already started to illustrate in the first one, "The Hunters' Feast".

Have you done any more of these? Along with the diary scans I like this best. There's something lovely about pre-marked paper.
I do actually... which is why most Sundays I'll be at the Camberwell market. We should go sometime and find interesting things to draw on one morning.
